Milani Powder Eyeshadows: Swatches & Review!

Out of 12 Shades, I decided to pick up 5 since the other colors were pretty similar to what I already owned. These are highly pigmented and silky smooth and I imagine very easy application. For less then $5, these are amazing quality! One small con to these is that they are so soft, if you drop them or bump them against something, they will most likely crumble. I received my order and they were shattered from the delivery, so I had to wait a couple weeks to finally get these repackaged :/ so just be delicate with these ;)

With Flash
Swatched left to right: Purple Shock, Just Perfect, Pitch Black, Gold Dust, Tickled Pink

Natural Light

Beautiful colors right? Pitch Black is an amazing matte and extremely pigmented shade! Purple Shock, Tickled Pink, is gorgeous along with Just Perfect. Gold Dust is a little powdery, but still a nice shade. Overall, I recommend these especially for the price and size. ♥

Mattese Elite Cosmetics Haul & Review!

So thanks to one of my favorite bloggers: Nouveau Cheap...she mentioned that this set was $10 and it retails for $61! At first, I was a little skeptic because I've never heard of Mattese Elite Cosmetics before. So as always, I did a TON of research on it. From what I read, it's a cosmetic line sold in a beauty shop called Rickys NYC that's based in New York. Luckily they had a great rep of having some awesome products. So since I saw that the website was offering free shipping for the weekend, I said why not check it out!

Here is the set from the picture above. It includes a black mesh makeup bag, Lip Liner Pencil, Lip Gloss, Blush, and 2 Eye shadows. I also purchased 2 lipsticks I had to try out thanks to all the amazing reviews about them! ...and doesn't the packaging kind of remind you of MAC? ;)

Let's start with the Blush and 2 Eye shadows:
Swatched left to right:
Smooth N' Wear Blush in "Nudity" (Heavy swatch & blended out)
Luminous Pearl Effect Eye shadow in "Emerald"
Long Wear Matte Eye Shadow in "Dark Alley"

Now for the lip products:

Swatched left to right:
Rich Emollient Lipstick in "Bi" & "Ecstasy"
Moisturizing Wand Lip Gloss in "All The Way"
Lip Liner Pencil in "Henna"

Typically I wouldn't really pick out the shades that the lip gloss and lip liner came in. The lip gloss is a dark plum and the lip liner is also a dark plum but almost dark brown. As for the lipsticks, those just scream my name! They are gorgeous and they smell DEAD ON like MAC lipsticks! (Which are my fav). The finish to them are like an amplified finish by MAC. Very moisturizing and leaves a nice glossy texture on your lips. I'm in love! Not to mention the packaging is adorable. They are a little shorter then a MAC lipstick and all the packaging has the NARS feel to them. (velvety matte). Very nice! It's also very lightweight too. Even though the lip gloss and lip liner isn't exactly my choice of colors, they work great and are very pigmented. I tried on the gloss and it wasn't sticky and it felt nice on the lips. It also smells yummy! I like that it has a brush applicator as well.

So just when you thought that was it.....I also read reviews on their nail polishes, and had to get some too! I was a good girl and only got the mini's to try out ;) hehe. These are a great size for mini's and just a little heads up on the names, they are a bit risque. I find it rather cute ;)

Swatched left to right: Perky Pink, Turks Blue, Factory Girl, Burning Red, Pink All Over Me, Smoking Hot, Sweet & Pink Inside, Explosive, She's All That, Cosmic Blue, Dirty Slut, Only The Pinky, Creaming My Purple, Pretty Pink, Grenadine Cocktail, Temper Tantrum

This line is amazing. You should definitely check them out, especially RIGHT NOW since they still have these for the same prices I got them for! It's a steal for such great products!

So here are the prices for you guys that you can get them for as of right now:
Exclusive Mattese Elite Makeup Gift Set - $61 now $10
 Rich Emollient Lipsticks - $10 now $5
Mattese Elite Mini Nail Polishes - $3.99 now $0.99 (or they have the full size for buy one, get one at $5.99 each!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stains: Review & Swatches!

What it is: A gel formula balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon.
What it claims: Gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour.

NATURAL lighting
Swatched left to right: Sweetheart, Precious, Darling, Lovesick, Cherish, Crush, Romantic

So WOW Revlon has been coming out with a lot of new products lately. So can I just say that I might be neglecting the Revlon Lip Butters for a bit because of these babies! Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but these also do exactly what it claims! It stains your lips just as described. They feel nice on the lips, not as moisturizing as the Lip Butters, but still really nice. I love the look of these too. They tug a little bit on your lips when you apply it, so it feels almost like a satin finish (due to the fact that they will be staining your lips). The colors can be worn sheer or very opaque. They also have a nice minty smell to them. I love the fact that you don't have to sharpen them since they are retractable. As most of you may know, they are being compared to the Clinique Chubby Sticks & Tarte LipSurgence. Well I can't vouch for that because I haven't tried those, but if these are dupes for way cheaper then that's even better! Finally a product that gives a balm and a stain! These are awesome! I highly recommend :)

*Retails for $7.99 - $8.99 at various drugstores*

Mini MAC Haul ♥

Reel Sexy & In Extra Dimension Collection

Highlighter: Superb

Gorgeous shimmery champagne color ♥

Left: Blended out, Right: Heavy swatch

Reel Sexy (Amplified)

Watch Me Simmer (Amplified)

Swatched left to right: Reel Sexy, Watch Me Simmer

Finally I get my hands on Watch Me Simmer! If you read my last MAC haul post, you know that I was bummed that I didn't get my hands on any of the lipsticks from the Shop/Cook MAC collection. So yay for it being re-promoted the next month! lol. And tell me how pretty is Reel Sexy too?! Love them! Perfect for the summer time. In my case though, for anytime! :) The highlighter is amazing as well. Very interesting texture. It feels like the L'Oreal Infallible eye shadows I did a blog post about too. Like a cream to powder feel. It's gorgeous! I'm very happy with getting 3 items that are sold out because I never get that lucky! Yay me ♥

Jordana Blushes: Review & Swatches!

Swatched left to right: Redwood (Slight shimmer), Rouge (Matte), Rose Silk (Matte), Touch Of Pink (Matte), Sandalwood (Matte), Blushing Rose (Gold shimmer), Tawny Beige (Slight shimmer), Coral Sandy Beach (Golden sheen)

I never tried Jordana products until about a month ago. My local Walgreens don't sell the blushes, so I have only tried the Easy Shine Lipsticks, Fabuliner & Mascara. I loved all three of those so when I saw blogs about the blushes, I had to try them out too. These range from $1.99 - $2.49 and the lid is a twist off cap. These are a STEAL! They are very pigmented and smooth when swatched. I love the color range. Great for all skin tones!  I honestly think these are comparable to the high end blushes out there. If you have tried the Elf Studio Blushes and like them, then you will LOVE these because they are even better! Unlike the Elf blushes, these are not powdery AT ALL. Definitely check these out if your looking to expand your blush collection in a more affordable way :)

Where to purchase online: (If your local stores don't carry them)

theBalm Nude 'Tude (Feeling Nice) Palette: Review & Swatches!

As you can see, it's much thinner then the Urban Decay Naked Palette

Swatches left to right: Sassy, Stubborn, Selfish, Sophisticated, Sexy, Serious, Snobby, Stand-offish, Sultry, Seductive, Silly, Sleek

Where was I when this palette came out?? I just heard about this threw a fellow YouTube guru, and I was convinced to get it. This palette is amazing! I love the color range and the fact that it includes 4 matte shades! I thought the Naked palettes from UD were good, and they are, but seriously I think if I would have known about this sooner, I would much rather prefer this one over it. Don't get me wrong, I love my Naked palettes, but I think this palette is perfect for a bunch of different looks without needing any other eye shadows. I always wished that UD put just a couple more matte shades in theirs, and now I see that theBalm has exactly what I wanted, I'm in LOVE! They feel soft and buttery just like UD too. I think I'm complete with my nude palettes, lol. Definitely check this out if your a neutrals lover! ;)

Sugarpill Haul & Review!

& of course they offered a sale :) Here are the goodies I got:

The packaging is super adorable!!

These feel a bit heavy/sturdy because of the mirrors and they're are also magnetized :)

Swatched left to right: Flamepoint, Buttercupcake, Love +, Poison Plum
(How awesome is it to have a TRUE red?!)

Swatched left to right: Dollipop, Afterparty, Midori, Tako

I was dying to try out the pressed eye shadows, so when Shrinkle announced the birthday sale I had to pick these up along with another loose e/s in Starling (which is GORGEOUS btw) but I wanted to focus this post on just the palettes. As you can see they are extremely pigmented, bold, and bright! Just the way colors should be. They are all mostly matte. Poison Plum has some pretty pink & blue sparkles in it, and Afterparty has a nice satin finish. There really is nothing to say other then these are amazing! Definitely add these to your collection! :)
