Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 hour Cream Gel Eyeshadows

NEW goodies from Maybelline!

Beautiful aren't they?!  :)

Swatched left to right: Pomegranate Punk, Bad to the Bronze, Bold Gold, Tough as Taupe, Edgy Emerald, Tenacious Teal

*UPDATE* - Since I loved these so much, I went back to pick up the last 4 I was missing :)

Swatched left to right: Painted Purple, Fierce & Tangy, Too Cool, Audacious Asphalt

Long wear makeup is definitely the trend for 2011-2012 drugstore cosmetics which is awesome. These are amazing for the price. Very similar to the MAC Paint Pots, but more affordable and not as drying. They are highly pigmented and they have a beautiful variety of colors. (Painted Purple) is the only "weak" color. It's more sheer then the rest. One of the colors I have (Tough as Taupe) is matte too, so not all are shimmery. They feel so smooth. I can imagine these used for multiple purposes besides just an eye shadow, like an actual eye liner and also a color base. These do NOT budge! I swatched these and literally a few minutes later, they would not move. These are awesome! They claim to last up to 24 hours...I believe them! I haven't experienced any creasing either. These are definitely worth checking out! :)

NEW! L'Oreal Infallible 24 hour eye shadows and Color Riche Balms

New goodies from L'Oreal :)

Let's start with the Balms

What it claims: Instantly smoothes and nurtures lips, providing 8 hours of continuous hydration. Lips feel softer and more supple all day long. Even when removed, it leaves lips feeling conditioned for an addition 2.5 hours.

Swatched left: 218 Rose Elixir
Swatched right: 518 Tender Mauve

These are nice and hydrating for sure. They make my lips feel so smooth and it has a nice shine. I have to say though, for the color range they have, it's not very pigmented. They're pretty sheer. The swatches are heavy swatches of me going back and forth several times just to make the colors appear better in a picture. I do like how they feel so at least it does what it claims to do. I just don't think the color range was necessary lol. So for those who are curious if these are similar to the Revlon Lip Butters...as far as pigmentation, definitely not. If you like balms with a slight tint of color then you will love these.

*Retails for $7-8 in various drugstores*

Now for the 24 Hour eye shadows

What it claims: An ultra intense eye shadow that lasts from day until dawn - a full 24 hours. This revolutionary formula fuses the ease of a powder with a velvety caress of a cream to create a unique hybrid that glides on effortlessly.

They come with a round "flat topper" on top of them to keep the powders pressed and fresh from drying out. They specifically say do not discard on them.

Swatched left to right: Bronzed Taupe, Iced Latte, Sultry Smoke, Golden Sage, Infinite Sky

I'm very impressed with these. Talk about PIGMENTED! I have to say these are amazing. If you love metallic shadows, then these will be your new loves. The grey one (Sultry Smoke) is a matte. They feel buttery soft. They are beautiful colors and glide on without effort. Rumor has it, these are the dupes for the Armani Eyes To Kill shadows which are crazy expensive ($32 ea.) As for these lasting for 24 hours, Unfortunately I don't wear my makeup that long, lol, but I have worn these for a good amount of hours in a day and they remain the same as applied without creasing! Crazy right? Check these out for sure, you will not be disappointed in these :)

Nail of the day: Holiday sparkle

My FAV glitter polish China Glaze "Fairy Dust" & a gorgeous red from Sinful Colors "Sugar Sugar"

You can put Fairy Dust on top of any color and it'll look so pretty since it's very fine glitter, not chunky. I love chunky glitter polish too, but if you want to make a color sparkle a bit without the big glitter effect and from covering the color then this one is perfect ♥

      Urban Decay NAKED 2 Palette

Woohoo! Look what came in the mail today! I was so excited :)

NAKED 2 is retailed for $50 on the Urban decay website. It will be available at Sephora, Ulta and other retailers I believe mid January-February. The palettes are same the size as each other, although the NAKED 2 is a little heavier of course because of the tin packaging instead of the velvet cover this time. I personally like the new packaging because it snaps to close. I like the "secure" feel to my palettes :)

      Let's take a look inside & compare...

Original NAKED on top & NAKED 2 on the bottom

Swatched: Foxy, Half baked, Booty Call, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout

The first color (Foxy) barely shows cause it matches my skin tone.
I wish there was a couple more mattes, but I'm pretty satisfied with it anyway. The colors are somewhat similar to the first Naked palette and there is a couple repeats, but if your a true fan of neutrals, then this is a must have! (Like myself, lol) ♥

Comes with a full size double ended crease & shadow brush
I love the brush. Great quality and I love how it's a 2 in 1 product.

Last but not least, it also comes with a mini lip gloss in "Naked"

Very pretty neutral pink with some shimmer in it ♥

Revlon Lip Butters swatches & review!

The infamous Revlon Lip Butters!  ;)

What it is: Buttery Balm & Shiny Color
What it claims: To give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips
94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated

Swatched left to right: Strawberry Shortcake, Creme Brulee, Tutti Frutti, Cotton Candy, Pink Truffle, Peach Parfait, Berry Smoothie

*Retails for $7-9 at various drugstores*

These were getting so much hype that I had to check them out for myself. Well, I definitely see why almost everyone loves them. First off, they're in cute packaging and the shape of them is nice. For lip butters, these are highly pigmented! These in my opinion, don't really feel like actual "lip butters". They're more like a hydrating lipstick. Which is fine with me because I love good pigmentation. They have a variety of colors from nudes, to reds. I believe they have 20 colors to choose from. The only thing I wish was that they smelled like they're names. Then these would be even more AMAZING lol. Overall, it looks like I'm another one that also loves this product :)

      NARS Denmari Palette

Ahh yes, the lovely NARS Denmari Palette. The best thing that NARS has come out with for the holidays (In my opinion). It's retailed for $65 at Sephora. The full size individual cheek powders are 0.16 oz and  retail for $27 each. This palette contains 6 powders with each containing 0.12 oz, which means it's only 0.04 oz away from FULL SIZE for way less of the price! Pretty awesome right? ;)

Swatched: Hungry Heart Duo (1), Orgasm, Desire, Casino, Super Orgasm, Sin

These colors have great color payoff. A little goes a long way. I've read on other blogs that they don't think it was necessary for Orgasm and Super Orgasm to be on the same palette. Well for myself, I love that it comes with both! Especially since this is my first NARS purchase. They are similar shades but Super Orgasm is a little lighter with of course glitter flecks in it. All these colors are gorgeous for all skin shades. It's definitely a great gift for someone or yourself ♥ This is limited so pick it up before it's gone for good!
